1.WHAT'S OUR PROJECT ABOUT?
As we explained in our first post http://newropeansspain.blogspot.com.es/2015_03_01_archive.html, this year is the European Year For Development and we decided to choose "education for population" as our slogan, because everybody deserves an education, and if we want a better future it's necessary to have one. We wanted to help so we did different activities trying to help the most needed.
2.WHAT DID WE DO?
At our school:
-First we prepared the test by reading and studying "gacetas euroscolos".And on 18th March we did it.
-After, we started to prepare a collection of school supplies, from 3 years old children to 16 years old teenagers.
We showed two different power points to all the classes, one about the education and another one about the European Union and the education. We convince everybody about the importance of having one.
-A day later, all the students gave us their school supplies, we filled more tan 4 big boxes! (We are going to send them to a poor school in Congo)
They also took some photos and videos supporting "education for population"
-We did a spiritual dance in memory of the people who died the 24th of March in the tragedy of the Germanwings flight.
-Also, Europe Direct Región de Murcia visited our school two different times, the first one we celebrated together the Safer Internet Day and they explained us the importance of a responsible use of the Internet.
The second time they helped us to prepare the collection of school supplies.
Outside our school:
-We went to the office of Europe Direct three different times, the first one they explained us how Europe Direct and the EU Works.
And the other two times they worked with us, and they helped us a lot. Thank you so much!!
-We made a video where you can see people from different countries supporting our Project, and our slogan "education for population". http://newropeansspain.blogspot.com.es/2015/04/our-video-education-for-population.html.
-We also visited twice an exhibition organized by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. The second visit was special, because we attended to a "private vist" with the students of San Pedro Apóstol (they participate in Euroscola too) and a member of Europe Direct.
-We supported the #nohatespeech Movement.
-Santa María de Gracia school recorded a video supporting our Project.
-Two students of Yamanlar School (Izmir,Turkey) recorded a video at their school supporting us.
-We explained our Project in Centro Social de Mayores Santiago y Zaraiche, and they also supported education for population. http://newropeansspain.blogspot.com.es/2015/04/everybody-supports-us.HTML
-In Bando de la Huerta (a traditional festival in Murcia) we took a photo supporting education for population with Murcian typical clothes.
-On 9th April we went to the radio RomMurcia, to talk about our Project and we appeared on "Aquí y Ahora". http://www.rommurcia.es/2015/04/09/aqui-y-ahora-09-04-15/
-We sent a tweet to each one of the European Comissioners and, Jyrki Katainen, clicked favourite on our tweet.
-We created three different QR codes, one to our twitter, other to our facebook and other to our blog.
-We created a website where you can see our blog, and you can also contact us.
-We contacted a volunteer working in the border between Syria and Turkey and we also contacted a priest working in Congo (we'll send him the school supplies that we collected)
They'll send us their answers as soon as posible and we'll post them here.
And that's all! We hope you like our initiative! We have worked a lot!
We invite you to watch this video that we made with all the pictures we took during this Project:
Thank you for giving us this oportunity to participate in this incredible contest!

Lo habéis hecho genial chicos!!!!
ResponderEliminarThat's nice. Without education there is no respect nor good life together. UE governments must guarantee every child has proper education and encouraged teachers. Luck.
